| Coal Seam Gas Practice |
Queensland is experiencing an explosive boom in the sector of mining and
Coal Seam Gas, with Billions of dollars being pumped in these regions every
year this place is now filled with mining jobs and gas exploration jobs like a
swarm of bees.
Maximum jobs available
in this area are either of mining or of Coal Seam Gas extraction and
management. The sole reason for this is the recent huge investments in
these
areas by both Government and Private sector.
The best thing about
mining jobs is the pay that they offer. Even for a truck driver who simply
transports good from mining area to the storage area earns way much than any
truck driver in any sector leave apart the core mining jobs.
People who are
employed at any level, be it a simple mine worker or their manager they all are
paid nearly 5-6 times more than what any farm worker or construction worker
would ever earn and the sole reason for this is living at a deserted place and
constant risk to life as working in a mine is never too safe as despite of
contractors and companies using safety measures there always a huge risk to the
lives of the workers are accidents are always waiting to happen in mine, be it
land sliding or any explosion due to gas leakage hence these companies pay a
premium to those who work in mines as they are nearly risking their lives for
the job.
People who are having
some specialty are off course given more salary and employment preference but
the doors are not closed for freshers or those who do not have any particular
skills. But companies who are out sourced by mining companies for employment
will not be much interested in those who lack any specific skill which can be
easily sold to their contractor and deal specifically with those who have
something sell-able on the go.
